Ready to Enjoy your Relationship?

Discover Connection as You Grow Together

Building a strong relationship with your partner takes intentional time and investment. It can be difficult when you feel disconnected and misunderstood to have the hope and energy to continue cultivating the bond. Struggling with communication often increases hurts and barriers between the couple. We take joy in pruning relational weeds where the garden has overgrown.

Even if you feel content with your relationship but are interested in strengthening and enhancing your connection, we would love to foster that growth. Our ultimate desire is to create space to focus on your relationship. We want to help you get to a place of enjoying your relationship and deepening your friendship and connection.

Frequently Asked Questions

When you are considering therapy, you want to feel confident that you are making a good choice in a therapist. We would love the opportunity to talk with you and answer any questions that you may have.

  • Diagnosis Requirement – Insurance companies require diagnoses in order for therapists to get paid. This can put therapists in a difficult position as they may have to force improper diagnoses in order to be financially compensated. These diagnoses are permanent on your medical record. With self-pay, an official diagnosis may not be necessary.
  • Heightened Privacy – With self-pay, your information is more private and secure. We do not submit any of your information to insurance entities as there is no reason to do so.
  • Flexibility of Session Length – What if you would like more or less time than the traditional 50 minutes? With insurance companies, this would require rationale and pre-authorization; it also risks a denial of approval. With self-pay, we can flex your schedule and custom craft your sessions for maximum benefit.
  • Flexibility of Treatment Length – With insurance companies, the number of approved sessions are pre-authorized. If the client needs additional sessions, this request must be approved and runs the risk of denial if the insurance company doesn’t feel the rationale is adequate. With self-pay, we can schedule as few or as many sessions as you would like, even multiple sessions per week.

This is a distinct service that Watershed Wellness, LLC, is excited to offer. Bennett and Lindsey have different personal life backgrounds, enabling them to bring unique perspectives into the room. Professionally, Bennett brings a focus in Clinical Mental Health, while Lindsey brings her education in Marriage and Family Therapy. Being married to each other, Bennett and Lindsey are also able to share from their own journey.

Bennett and Lindsey are both devoted followers of Jesus. They believe all people are made in God’s image and loved by Him. They will gladly integrate their faith into sessions if that is what the client(s) desire. That being said, Christian faith is not a requirement for clients seeking therapy with Bennett and Lindsey. Each person’s unique faith or non-faith perspective will be fully respected.

You always have the ability to stop therapy services whenever you want and are never forced to attend sessions. If you as a client feel that Bennett and/or Lindsey are not a good fit for you, they would be happy to help you find a better fit for your counseling journey. Bennett and Lindsey would appreciate knowing in advance from a client if they wish to cease services, but this request is not required. If 30 days pass without any form of contact to Bennett and/or Lindsey, the client file will be closed due to inactivity.
